A love of nature and years of world travels help put Andre in touch with an intimacy from the emotions. "Mountains, lakes, minerals, rocks, mosses earth, forms, odours, sensations and finally qualities of light and contrast between northern and the southern countries are the elements and senses from which I construct my paintings". The result? A special relationship of pigment and recycled glass powder that's used to bring a transparency and sensual light to the canvas.

Awarded a gold medal in 2001 at the Concours International des Arts Contemporains in France, André has shown also in Japan, United States, Korea, Norway, and Canada. His works are presented in private and public collections including Cirque du Soleil, the Maison de Champagne Roger Brun and the Conseil Général du Lot in France.
