Bernadette Badali's artwork reflects her fascination with texture. In her paintings she concentrates on creating textural surfaces with plaster, paint, fabrics, and fibres on canvas, giving her work a strong sculptural sense.

Her current artworks continue to investigate her interest in texture, while signifying how humans travel through their lives both consciously and unconsciously representing this journey or growth through life by using "Travel Lines". The idea of layering shows the history of life or the history of a particular event.
