Richard Adkin, one of Canada’s most exciting photographers
of his generation,is renowned for his use of extreme saturated
colours and contrast in the photography of landscapes, cityscapes
and portraits, resulting in fresh and modern imagery of contemporary
themes and social issues. Identified by his peers for unique style
and artistic approach, Richard, born in 1974, in St. Thomas, Ontario,
is a Budapest-based international photographer who has travelled
extensively in Europe capturing signature moments in life that
promote environmental and human rights issues.
Recent accolades for Richard’s work include his being a
finalist in the Garden Photographers’ Association International
Photographic Competition, in London, England as well as placing
in the ‘Portrait' category in the Applied Arts Magazine's
Photography and Illustration Annual Contest in 2005. |
