  • UMOJA - Rebecca Lolosoli started Umoja (means Unity in Swahili) in Kenya ten years ago when women who were beaten, escaping genital mutilation, forced into marriages or raped. They came together to create their own village.
  • Voices of Art To Create a Better World for Children - Island Public Natural School and Orde Street Public School with teachers Brooke, Michael and assistant Melissa had Carol visit the school to talk with elementary school children about how other children live in Third World countries.
