Island Public Natural School and Orde Street Public School with
teachers Brooke, Michael and assistant Melissa had Carol visit
the school to talk with elementary school children about how other
children live in Third World countries. Art canvases were created
and displayed at ACA Gallery with opening reception on June 3,
2006 attended by a full house of parents, teaches, guests and the
children.
Monies raised were donated for soccer balls for Mayan children
and for books for kidsreadAfghanistan.
The children showed they had wisdom beyond their years and a need to help other
children. Thank you to the teachers who made this possible and helped the children
learn that art can change the world and we can all make a difference.
